This camera is simply beautiful. It is very sleek and light while feeling very sturdy in construction. Start up time for first shot is blazing fast even though continuous shooting is not. LCD is fairly visible even when in direct sunlight thus the lack of a viewfinder is not a deal breaker. While this camera is a little larger than the SD780IS, it packs a 4x zoom and a 28mm wide angle lens which has definitely been useful. Picture quality is not on par with any powershot since the SD790IS but taken for the sleek body, I can't complain. HD video is simply stunning for a camera of this caliber, my Vado HD simply cannot compare to this baby. Battery life is very good, the battery has lasted over 200 shots and multiple videos without a drained battery. This camera is made in China for those who care but it does not feel flimsy at all (the newer shipment of SD780s are from China anyways). Buy this camera if you want a good camera with just the right amount of pep. There are other cameras out there with better IQ but they simply cannot compare to the SD940 as a whole.
