This is a good little camera for the price. The review that said it was slow was right. It is slow. That is its major drawback. Other than that I found it to be a delight to use. You have to hold it very still to get good pictures, but there are lots of overrides which I find very helpful if you want more/less exposure - faster or slower shutter speed. For a camera that you can take underwater with you and change exposure times, you cannot beat the price. If you can only have one camera and you like to take pictures while wet, I would say you will be happy with this camera.
